If the Rain Should Ease the Pain

If the Rain Should Ease the Pain

I would dream
I would believe
I would smell the roses more often
If the rain should ease the pain

I might lead the way
I might climb to the sky
Or fly to planet Mercuri
If the water would drown the bother

I could gaze for miles and miles
I could see where a road might lead
I could slingshot into the future
If the tide would just pass on by

Sickness shall end
Famine shall cease to exist
The world shall have plurality, but act as one
If the thunder should bring on the plunderer’s

And everything could be true . . . . . .
Everything blue and green
Could remain blue and green
And she, well, you know . . . . . .
If the rain should ease the pain
